Read what some of the students and members of the community have to say about Westside Martial Arts.
...one of the basic tenets of this discipline is that its practitioners must respect all life. It is defensive in nature, not combative.
Parents have provided numerous accounts of how their child was able to extract themselves from confrontations with the schoolyard bully without the use of violence.
...incomparable classroom techniques are motivational...

Three words that have prominent meaning to me: confidence, respect, and fun. I have been at this dojo for going on 3 years now, and there has never been day I do not leave feeling better than when I came in. It is not only exercise for the body, but the mind and spirit as well. (Training at) Westside Martial Arts has been an immense stress reliever
(which I need as a high school sophomore) and I believe it will benefit anyone who will give it a try.

In these classes they teach you self defense. They will also help you get fit. There is one more think it teaches you - discipline. These classes are encouraging and fun.

The instructors and classes are great! I have always been interested in martial arts and the environment to learn is awesome. The dojo does not just teach martial arts but focuses on teaching one how to be a better person. I like this because it is not about just getting to the next belt level. The classes teach the basics, the traditions, the way our body work, the way our mind operates, self-defense, and so much more. I take these classes with my daughter. It has clearly taught her confidence. The classes have brought us closer as it gives us an opportunity to practice at home together. I highly recommend this family friendly dojo.

The instructors are incredible! They work closely with each student to ensure correct development of each technique. I am extremely pleased with the increased focus and discipline my son has developed. He looks forward to going to class so that he can perfect his current technique, as well as learning new ones.
